I don't see the hypocrisy... some of the people interviewed are pro-gun, even if most of the media is anti. In this case, the lady being interviewed said "get a gun", and the reporter/anchor seemed kind of taken aback for a moment... kind of "oh, crap, did she just tell moms to get a gun?". Now if she had said it instead, I could see the potential hypocrisy... I could also see her being out of a job.

I also thought the comment about "don't call him an animal, animals don't do that, they're better than that" was pretty stupid. I've had National Geographic on all morning while working from home, and yes, animal do stuff like that... zebras killed a baby wildebeest that got separated from its mother, lots of male animals (wildebeests again, zebras, hippos, etc) killing their rivals' offspring... and this doesn't even include the predators. Animals do lots of things that people go to prison for when done other people, or even to animals.
